About Finn
I hold a Master’s degree in Genetics and have 7 years of experience teaching biology to learners of all ages. My teaching emphasizes conceptual understanding, curiosity, and analytical thinking. I strive to make complex biological processes accessible and engaging by using diagrams, real-world examples, guided exercises, and discussions that help learners connect abstract concepts to tangible observations.
I provide personalized attention to each student, tailoring lessons to their current level, pace, and interests. Beginners develop a strong foundation, while advanced learners explore complex topics and engage in deeper scientific reasoning. I aim to foster curiosity, independent thinking, and critical analysis, helping students approach biology as an exciting and meaningful subject rather than a set of memorized facts.

My lessons cover genetics, physiology, ecology, evolution, and molecular biology, providing learners with interactive explanations, diagrams, and exercises to help them understand complex topics. I emphasize reasoning over rote memorization, encouraging students to ask questions, analyze patterns, and make connections across topics. Each session combines practical examples, exercises, and guided discussion, creating a supportive environment that fosters curiosity and a deeper understanding of life sciences.
Lessons are designed according to the student’s level. Beginners focus on cell structure, basic anatomy, and ecological relationships. Intermediate learners study inheritance, molecular processes, and organism interactions, developing analytical skills and conceptual understanding. Advanced learners explore biotechnology applications, physiological systems, and advanced ecological concepts. Each lesson includes stepwise guidance, practical problem-solving, and reinforcement exercises to ensure mastery and confidence in the subject.
The goal of my biology lessons is to equip learners with knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
