About Ayshan
My experience includes taking AP Literature and AP English Language and Composition in high school and receiving 5s on both exams. In addition to these classes, I also took AP Seminar and Research, furthering my experience in higher-level academic writing. Lastly, I received perfect scores on the reading and writing sections of the ACT. I am just finishing my first year of college where I also had the pleasure of taking several English-heavy classes. I am very familiar with formal academic writing, source gathering and analysis, and professional grammar and formatting. I genuinely enjoy linguistics and teaching others grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension.

I like to highlight the importance of individual practice in addition to time with tutors. I enjoy getting to know students, and I adjust lesson plans to their individual needs and skills. A typical first session would involve gauging the student's English level and establishing which areas need assistance.
I excel at all levels of English, and I particularly enjoy teaching grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension, especially for standardized tests.
