About Briar
My interest in Biology began with a fascination for nature and the incredible diversity of life. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences before earning a PhD in Molecular Biology. Over the last 10 years, I have worked with students to make science easier to understand.
I believe effective teaching comes from patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to individual learning styles. My classes focus on clear explanations and practical understanding rather than memorizing facts. Every student receives support that matches their pace.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading about genetics, environmental studies, and new biological research. Keeping up with scientific developments helps me make lessons more engaging and relevant. Helping students become confident and curious learners continues to inspire my teaching journey.

I teach Biology by connecting scientific concepts with the natural world that students experience every day. Lessons include topics such as cell structure, genetics, ecology, evolution, and human body systems, all explained through simple language and relatable examples. This approach helps learners understand ideas more naturally.
Every lesson is adapted to the learner’s goals and academic level. Beginners develop a strong understanding of basic concepts, while advanced students improve scientific reasoning and biological analysis. Visual learning, discussions, and revision exercises help students remember important details.
I believe curiosity is one of the most valuable parts of learning science. Students are encouraged to ask questions and think independently throughout every lesson. My goal is to help learners gain confidence while developing a deeper appreciation for Biology.
