I’m a passionate Chemistry tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. My expertise lies in corrosion chemistry and protection methods, where I aim to make complex ideas simple and practical. I focus on teaching electrochemical corrosion mechanisms so students truly understand how and why corrosion occurs. We explore passivation and how it naturally protects metals, along with ways to enhance it artificially. I also cover cathodic protection, including sacrificial anodes and impressed current methods, to give a complete picture.
