About Kayla
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Biological Sciences, passionate about helping students explore the living world. My background is in plant physiology and agricultural science, which allows me to connect core concepts with real-world applications. I focus on topics such as photosynthesis, nutrient uptake, plant hormones, and crop improvement strategies. My teaching approach in Biology is systematic, clear, and focused on helping students understand complex interactions in nature. Alongside core Biology, I cover ecology, ecosystems, biodiversity, and environmental conservation to give a complete understanding of our living planet.
I guide students to think like biochemists and forensic experts, exploring real-world applications of biological principles. Lessons are designed to encourage curiosity and critical thinking while maintaining clarity and structure. I provide consistent feedback, helping students identify strengths and areas for improvement.
We work together to master ecological principles and understand how organisms interact with their environment. Practical examples, case studies, and problem-solving exercises make learning tangible. I focus on building confidence in both theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
By the end of each session, students gain a deeper understanding of biological systems and environmental processes. My goal is to support them in excelling academically and developing a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
