About Bobbie
Students often ask if it is possible to achieve professional fluidity without losing the natural joy of music. My career began 13 years ago in regional chamber ensembles and orchestral settings, eventually shifting into this full-time focus on piano and violin. Holding a BMus from the Rice University Shepherd School allows me to guide you through rhythm, sight reading, and complex chord voicing. Whether you are prepping for ABRSM exams or exploring contemporary pop, I am happy to help.

Teaching should always prioritize the honesty of the musical moment, even when the theory becomes dense. I admit that my obsession with the Well-Tempered Clavier informs almost everything I do in the studio. With 13 years of experience, I support your growth by creating custom sheet music arrangements for songs you choose. We will also spend time on dynamics, expression, and sight transposition to keep things balanced.
