About Andy
Holding a BMus in Violin might suggest a life spent in dry theory, yet my earliest musical memories involve listening and imitating long before I ever touched a score. This Suzuki foundation guides how I currently teach 13 years later, blending traditional rigorous technique with an ear for genuine musicality. My students frequently gain placement in competitive regional and national youth orchestras by prioritizing tone production, ear training, and shifting positions.
Developing left hand agility and mastering double stops are essential milestones for the ambitious violinists I mentor. Whether refining classical repertoire or tuning by ear, I prepare my pupils to thrive in the demanding world of orchestral playing.
