About Hannah
"Soft morning sunlight hitting a page of French poetry serves as the starting point for our exploration of rhythm and liaison. Because of my BMus and MA background, I integrate musical phrasing into how we tackle the nasal sounds and complex syntax of the language. We spend time on role play and interview preparation so that you can navigate travel or formal settings with ease. I bring 13 years of experience to ensure every session feels cohesive rather than fragmented.
This ensures that even the most difficult grammar points become manageable parts of a larger whole. We explore cultural context to make the language feel alive and relevant to your everyday life. It is deeply satisfying to see how quickly everyday phrases turn into fluid, confident communication."

"Adult hobbyists often find that the intricacies of a new language feel daunting at first. Truthfully, I sometimes miss the simplicity of my early days of language study before I understood how much nuance exists within every sentence.
My work as an opera singer and teacher draws upon a BMus in Voice from the RAM and an MA in Hispanic Studies. Throughout 13 years of performing and instructing, I have helped many students find their own voice in a foreign tongue. I enjoy working with adults who want to move beyond basic phrases into meaningful conversation. My perspective on French is rooted in the same discipline required for vocal performance and linguistic precision.
I prioritise a gentle and articulate atmosphere where mistakes are simply markers of progress. You will find my approach avoids rigid drills in favour of natural usage and meaningful dialogue. I look forward to supporting your progress with clarity and patience."
