About Faruk
Hi there!
I am studying English Language and Literature at Boğaziçi University, my second undergraduate program as I'm a Nuclear Engineering graduate, my family said that if I finished my department, I could go to whatever really interests me, as such I find myself turning towards a language program.
I entered Boğaziçi with 80 correct answers out of 80 questions in YDT. I skipped my preparatory year thanks to BUEPT. I had the opportunity to translate many academic articles and books during my engineering studies. I started to give private lessons in Mathematics and English for two years. The happiness I felt when my students were successful enabled me to focus on this field even more.
That's why I take care of my students whenever I'm available. I like ever-interested, determined students. If necessary, I give extra free lessons to my students, of whom I see their progress lacking. My goal is not to make money, but to make a person successful.

There is only one true way to learn a language. It goes through the steps of learning our mother tongue for all of us. We need to listen constantly and go through a short trial and error process on our own without getting tired of it.
To enable you to establish links between phrases and events on your own, without using your mother tongue as an intermediary, I initially provide contextual everyday situations where we listen to the context I have created in parallel to the framework of my student's own purposes (IELTS TOEFL, YDT, MEB). As well as, seeing the words in writing only after hearing and repeating the pronunciations and lastly putting our thoughts on paper as the last and most difficult step.
You don't see people who leave their homeland sit down to learn the intricacies of the past perfect tense. Likewise, none of us need to remember grammatical rules when speaking our mother tongues.
This is exactly where I want to see in my students.
