About Gili
With 8 years of professional violin teaching experience and nearly 150 students successfully mentored, I am passionate about helping learners discover their musical strengths. I teach students of all levels and ensure they build a firm foundation in posture, bow coordination, intonation accuracy, finger agility, and rhythm stability.
My lessons are structured yet engaging, allowing students to enjoy learning while achieving measurable results. As students advance, I introduce expressive techniques, articulation, and repertoire development to refine their artistry. I emphasise consistent practice habits and provide clear, practical guidance for improvement outside class.
One of my unique abilities is recognising each student’s learning style and adapting my methods accordingly. My aim is to nurture confident musicians who play with both technical precision and emotional expression.

In my violin classes, communication and adaptability guide every lesson. I encourage students to express their doubts and learning challenges openly.
Since each student learns differently, I adjust my teaching methods to suit visual learners, auditory learners, or those who prefer hands-on practice. I teach violin techniques step by step, focusing on bow control, tone production, intonation accuracy, rhythm precision, and expressive phrasing. Along with performance skills, I include music theory, rhythm exercises, ear development, sight reading, ensemble coordination, and basic composition.
I connect classroom lessons to real-life situations such as concert preparation, stage performance, and exam strategies. This practical approach helps students apply their knowledge confidently. My aim is to ensure steady progress and build strong musical confidence.
