About Hiromitsu

I really love teaching and I've been doing it for so long! I also teach STEM subjects, but I really enjoy interacting with people who are interested in Japan and want to learn Japanese. I hope my students will have a great time when they meet other Japanese people or visit Japan:))

About the lesson

I believe that the key of learning languages is to enjoy!! My lessons are usually very casual (unless you want super intense lol) People have different goals but I think ultimately everyone wants to be able to actually use the language and communicate with natives. I am a good fit for those who want to achieve that:)

Hiro was most helpful to my son when he needed the boost of understanding and confidence as he joined honors science in delayed manner. Hiro was very patient to sit and help my son to understand the subject but also taught him the effective lab note taking which helped my son tremendously through the semester
I highly recommend Hiro for any kids who not only needs to understand the subject but also need gentle push on their shoulder to boost their confidence

Hiro is an amazing tutor and great at explaining a large range of topics to different learners.

During my time at Berkeley he was a great help in helping me solve and understand problems in my linear algebra and multivariable calculus courses. Not only did he help me visualize and conceptualize the problems so I can solve them on my own, but he came up with an unique approach that worked for me when studying new material outside of our sessions.

I would strongly recommend him for any learner as he is great at observing different learning styles and adapting the way he approaches the material.
