My lessons are relaxed, conversational, and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on practical Japanese you can actually use in everyday life, rather than relying solely on textbook phrases.
A typical lesson includes conversation practice, vocabulary and expressions, and explanations of grammar or cultural nuances as they naturally come up. I also like using real-life situations—travel, making friends, ordering food, texting, or casual conversations—so students can build confidence using Japanese naturally. I practice multiple ways of phrasing and responding to situations because everyone chooses words differently and memorizing one situational phrase won't be too helpful in the real conversational world.
Lessons are open to beginners through advanced learners, whether you’re learning for travel, personal interest, conversation practice, or simply want to feel more comfortable speaking Japanese!
