About Lola

Bonjour ! I'm Lola, a native French speaker born and raised in France, with a deep passion for arts, culture, and literature.

Having spent 20 years in France—including two vibrant years as a university student living in the heart of Paris—I bring an authentic, modern connection to French culture, arts, and contemporary life.

My academic journey in France was built around the humanities: I specialized in Humanités, Littérature et Philosophie alongside Histoire de l'Art. This gives me a rigorous academic foundation in grammar, textual commentary, and essay structure, combined with a genuine love for the nuances of the French language.

As a tutor, my goal is to share this passion in a warm, encouraging, and interactive space. Whether you want to master conversational French with native phrasing, prepare for an exam, or dive into French literature and art, I am excited to guide you every step of the way!

A bientôt !

About the lesson

Learning French should feel dynamic and natural. My methodology combines communicative immersion with structured grammar support:
- Active Immersion: From day one, we speak as much French as possible to train your ear and get you comfortable expressing yourself without second-guessing.
- Contextual Grammar: Instead of memorizing isolated rules, we study grammar directly through real-world dialogues, news articles, songs, and short literary excerpts.
- Pronunciation & Flow: We focus on native pronunciation, rhythm, liaisons, and modern phrasing so you sound natural, not like a translator app.

There are many native speakers on Superprof, but here is why my profile stands out:
- Academic Mastery (20/20 French Baccalauréat): Scoring a perfect 20/20 on both the oral and written French Baccalauréat proves that I don't just speak French—I master its grammar, syntax, essay structuring, and literary tradition at the highest academic level.
- 20 Years of Native Life: Born and raised in France, I offer authentic cultural context, current slang, formal register, and colloquial phrasing that non-native tutors simply cannot provide.
- Patient, Student-Centered Coaching: I build a relaxed environment where making mistakes is welcomed as part of the learning process.
