About Chloe
When a student hits a rough patch in a difficult passage, we stop immediately to analyze the physical tension involved. Sitting together, we isolate the specific movement of the wrist or arm until the sound flows effortlessly. I draw on my BMus training to ensure that technical adjustments are grounded in sound pedagogy.
My 9 years of teaching have taught me that clear, constructive feedback is the quickest path to progress. We prioritize small, incremental improvements during every hour to build long-term confidence.

Strings resonate under my fingertips, a memory from my early conservatory days at Schulich that still informs how I hear a melody. Training as a violinist was my primary focus during my BMus at the U of T Faculty of Music. I spend my days helping students refine their rhythm, timing, and shifting positions with precision.
This work feels like solving a complex musical puzzle every single day. My primary studies in violin are bolstered by 9 years of teaching adults, hobbyists, and those aiming for the ARCT track.
I focus on developing a solid foundation in tuning by ear and proper bowing technique. ABSRM and Trinity grade exam prep is a major part of what I offer to those seeking formal recognition. It is a pleasure to guide you through this process.
