About Lucas
I am a musician with experience in teaching for more than 15 years. My methodology is based on understanding the students needs and desires to build goals. I have taught courses and workshops at several festivals in Brazil and abroad, and I was a guitar and theoretical teacher at the Federal University of Ouro Preto, where I also coordinated the UFOP guitar orchestra.

Lucas Telles is a composer, arranger, guitarist and music producer. With recognized work in the brazilian music scene, the musician was twice winner of the BDMG Instrumental Award, in 2013 and 2019. His compositions and arrangements have been interpreted by several artists such as Toca de Tatu, Túlio Araújo, Serginho Beagá, FLUTUAR - Flute orchestra, Rebecca Kleinmann, Batuque Cello, Giselle Couto, Assanhado Quarteto, Deh Mussulini and Leonardo Brasilino. The musician holds a Bachelor of Music with a guitar qualification from UFMG and Master of Music - Analytical and creative practices, at the same institution, and has performed in several cities in Brazil and in countries such as France, England, United States and Holland. His first fully authorial album, "Autumn", was released in August 2019 on the Savassi Festival Records label, bringing together compositions that tour different genres of Brazilian music such as choro, samba, jongo, waltz and forró, presenting a contemporary musical approach.
