About Gabriel

I studied recorder with Bernardo de Toledo Piza and flute with Wilson Duarte Rezende. I graduated in recorder and baroque flute at the School of Music of the State of São Paulo (EMESP), under the guidance of Ricardo Kanji and Livia Lanfranchi. I participated in several courses, masterclasses and festivals related to early music, continuing my studies with German flutist Markus Zahnhausen. I collaborated with the GReCo - Renaissance and Contemporary Music Research Group, with the Luther King Choir and with the EMESP Baroque Orchestra. In 2023, I won the “Young Soloists” Award at the Santa Catarina Music Festival, in the early music category. I hold a Master's Degree in Music from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). I played under the baton of renowned conductors such as Peter Van Heyghen, Jaap ter Linden, Luís Otávio Santos, Ricardo Kanji, Ryo Terakado, Olaf Raimens, Alex Klein and Luis Antonio González Marín. I work intensely as a chamber musician, concertist and teacher.

About the lesson

Teacher with extensive experience with teenagers, young people, adults and the elderly. It has a methodology adapted to the objectives of each student. From beginners to preparing for applications and competitions.

Classes last 1 hour and can be weekly or fortnightly.

I edited and revised the book “A Study Program for the Recorder and Woodwind Instruments” by Ricardo Kanji. It's available in amazon website.
