About Lily

I am an enthusiastic Piano tutor with 9 years of experience in teaching students from school to college level. Music has always been an important part of my life, and sharing that knowledge with others gives me true happiness.

My journey as a teacher has been filled with meaningful achievements. I have trained numerous students who successfully participated in school competitions, college cultural programmes, and graded music exams. Seeing them perform confidently on stage has been one of the proudest milestones of my career.

I believe that education should be inspiring and empowering. Every student has a unique learning style, and I adapt my lessons to meet their individual needs. I focus on building a strong musical foundation, including proper posture, hand coordination, rhythm accuracy, and music reading skills.

In my classes, I create a calm and motivating atmosphere where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. I encourage regular practice and guide them on how to practise effectively. I also teach them to understand the emotion behind each piece, so they can play not just correctly, but beautifully.

Over the past 9 years, I have helped students move from beginner to advanced levels with confidence. My aim is to build not only skilled pianists but disciplined, confident individuals who appreciate the art of music.

Teaching Piano is my passion, and I am committed to helping every student reach their highest potential.

About the lesson

My piano teaching method focuses on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create a positive learning environment. I believe that every student is unique, so I design lessons based on their interests, age, and skill level.

I motivate students by connecting music to their personal goals. Whether they want to play for exams, performances, or personal interest, I guide them with a clear plan. I appreciate their effort and encourage them during challenges.

Communication is clear and friendly. I explain concepts like tempo, dynamics, scales, chords, and finger techniques in easy language. I demonstrate each lesson practically and allow students to practise during class.

Integrity means I am committed to quality teaching. I track student progress and give constructive feedback. I maintain professionalism and build trust with students and parents.

Creativity is an important part of learning piano. I include improvisation, simple composing activities, and rhythm games to make lessons interesting and interactive.

Apart from piano, I can also teach basic music theory, keyboard for beginners, harmony understanding, and ear training. My goal is to build confident, disciplined, and passionate piano learners.
