About Vally

I am a final year master's student looking for people who are interested in learning or improving their Italian skills for any reason at all! I am eager to reignite my love for the Italian language and culture through teaching. As someone from an Italian family, I was initially skeptical about undertaking A level italian classes, however I quickly realised that learning a language is not just about being able to communicate with others and simply get by, it is about expanding your knowledge of the many different facets that each culture has. I am so grateful that I decided to do so because now, due to the amazing teacher that I had from Toscana, my view of language teaching has completely changed. I hope that I can bring the same level of musical, political, cultural, regional, and historical engulfment that I was given into these sessions with you! Please let me know what it is you would like to get out of these sessions and I will try my best to tailor sessions to suit your interests!

About the lesson

No formal teaching experience, however I have an A* in both GCSE and A-level Italian, and am familiar with formal speaking and writing as well as more colloquial terms. Depending on what students would like to achieve from these lessons they can be tailored towards writing, listening, reading, professional, or casual speaking. Lessons can be from 30 minutes to 1 hour, and are targeted at beginners and less advanced speakers wanting to learn or improve their Italian skills!
