About Christopher

With over ten years in the industry and having spent most of my life thus far in the theater, I still believe the thing that sets me apart as a tutor is my love and passion for the craft. I've received a world-class education since my early days at Interlochen Arts Academy, throughout my undergraduate career at The University of Michigan, and even currently as I've returned to the classroom to get my master's in directing from Penn State University. My love and passion led me to numerous performance opportunities around the world including Hamilton in Australia and most recently, on Broadway with the Original Company of MJ. When not in rehearsal or at the theater, I'm often spending time with my puppy Coco, a good cup of coffee, or a good book. Sometimes all three!

About the lesson

My goal as your coach/tutor is to enhance your storytelling with precision and impact. By investigating the text and given circumstances, understanding the cultural and historical context of the work, and drawing a personal connection to the material, the student and I work towards building a universal technique to approach all material whether it be a monologue, song, or scene. Lessons from ages 13 and up. Can also offer assistance with building rep, resume editing, audition skills, and private dance coaching.
