About Ewan

Ewan Wilson has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service (SFS). He studied international politics and security studies, focusing his coursework on Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia. His honors thesis, titled “Mnemonic Warriors and Imperial Aims: The Kremlin’s Historical Narratives in Justifying Aggression in Ukraine,” explored the deployment of historical narratives in the Russian media and Kremlin’s public affairs during the invasions of Crimea and Ukraine.

During his time at Georgetown, Ewan held key leadership positions in the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs (GJIA) and the International Student Association (ISA). He also completed an internship with the University’s Career Center to create a new ethical and effective AI framework for career services.

Outside of Georgetown, Ewan completed a policy internship with one of DC’s top government consulting firms, Cornerstone Government Affairs, working with the firm’s National Security and Transportation & Infrastructure groups. In his free time, Ewan offers tutor lessons to high school students back home in the UK, helping them with British A Level Politics and History preparation.

About the lesson

Lessons will comprise one-hour discussions based on assigned readings, reading packets, and assessments of current trends by applying the theoretical knowledge we discuss in sessions. The student is expected to keep current affairs up-to-date with readings and news sources provided by the tutor.
