About Molly
Hi, I’m Molly! I’m a Psychology & Sociology BSc graduate with a real love for understanding people, how we think, and what shapes the way we learn and develop.
I spent four years working in SEN education and now work as a Fostering Family Worker supporting children, young people and families. Those experiences have really shaped the way I work with young people; with warmth, patience, curiosity and the understanding that no two people learn in exactly the same way.
I take a holistic and individual approach to tutoring. For me, it’s not just about remembering enough information to pass an exam; I want you to genuinely understand what you’re learning, feel comfortable asking questions and gradually become more confident in your own ability.
Psychology is such an interesting subject when it’s brought to life, and I love making complicated theories feel simple, relatable and relevant to the real world. My sessions are relaxed and encouraging, while still being focused on helping you make real progress.
Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic, want to improve your exam technique, or simply want someone to explain things in a way that finally clicks, I’ll meet you where you’re at and we’ll work from there.

My lessons take a holistic, individualised approach to learning. I recognise that every student learns differently, so rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I tailor sessions around the individual, their learning style, strengths, confidence, goals and the areas they find most challenging.
I hold a BSc in Psychology & Sociology and have four years’ experience working in SEN education, where I developed a flexible and creative approach to helping young people understand and engage with learning. I now work as a Family Worker supporting children and families, giving me extensive experience building positive, supportive relationships with young people.
My teaching style is warm, encouraging and collaborative. I break complex psychological theories and concepts into manageable explanations and use discussion, visual learning, real-world examples, active recall and exam-question practice depending on what works best for the student. I want students to understand the why behind what they're learning rather than simply memorising information.
Sessions can cover course content, research methods, essay planning, revision strategies, exam technique and confidence-building, with lessons adapted as we identify strengths and areas that need more support.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, delivered online, and are suitable for GCSE and A-Level Psychology students, including those who may benefit from a more individualised or SEN-informed approach.
