About Allen Joy

As a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in Science, I am passionate about helping children develop their English reading skills in a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment. I believe that every learner has the potential to succeed with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement.

My tutoring sessions are designed to suit each student's learning pace and needs. I use interactive activities, phonics exercises, storytelling, and guided reading to help learners improve their pronunciation, vocabulary, reading fluency, and comprehension. I strive to make every lesson enjoyable and meaningful while encouraging students to become more confident and independent readers.

I am committed to creating a positive learning experience where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing new skills, and learning from their mistakes. My goal is to help every learner make progress, build confidence, and develop a lasting love for reading.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making English reading fun, simple, and meaningful for every learner. As a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in Science, I value patience, encouragement, and interactive learning. I believe that every child learns at a different pace, so I adjust my teaching strategies to match each student's needs and abilities.

My teaching methods include phonics activities, letter and sound recognition, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, storytelling, and guided reading. I also use pictures, games, and relatable examples to help learners understand words and develop their reading confidence.

A typical lesson begins with a short review or fun warm-up activity, followed by the main lesson. Learners practice recognizing letters and sounds, reading words and sentences, and understanding short stories. I end each session with a quick review, positive feedback, and simple exercises to reinforce what they have learned.

What sets me apart is my dedication to helping learners feel comfortable, supported, and motivated. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students can make mistakes without fear and celebrate their progress. My goal is not only to improve their reading skills but also to develop their confidence and love for learning.

My lessons are ideal for young learners, elementary students, and beginners who want to improve their English reading skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. I welcome students who need extra guidance and individualized support as they develop their reading abilities.
