About Maas
I love all things children’s media and I dream to produce quality entertaining educational shows for young children and teens. I am currently studying at TMU in RTA Media Production, learning everything from clear concise written communication to whimsical detailed storytelling. I want to bring out your children’s creativity and help them master their communication and writing skills.
I’m passionate about Musical Theatre and the art of how script writing can combine with music, dance, singing, and performance to create a beautiful story.
Happiness, whimsy, and curiosity are essential emotions that I hope to foster with all the children I meet. Being an older sister of two middle school kids I know how important it is to have a positive role model and I hope to be able to connect and inspire your children to continuously improve and be the best version of themselves!

I tailor my lesson plans to my students' age, their interests, what they are learning in school, and adapt my approach to best assist them in their learning. Every child is different and unique and so are their learning styles. Having tutored 80+ children I’ve picked up the skills to pivot my approaches to engage them fully. Through combination of reading, thoughtful prompts, grammar feedback and explanations, and engaging worksheets students strengthen their ability to communicate through writing.
My students improved their writing skills as well as social skills and strengthened their sense of self.
From Kindergarten to Grade 9 I am ready to support your child’s learning through virtual or in Person Lessons at a Pickering Library or at a flexible location!
