About Bianca
Hello, I’m Bianca I hold a BA in German Studies and I’m currently pursuing my Honors in German Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of the Western Cape. I also hold a B1 certificate in German and have previous experience tutoring A1 students. My lessons are designed for learners at A1–B1 level who may find German grammar, vocabulary, or phrasing challenging. I take a patient and supportive approach, breaking down complex rules into clear, manageable steps. Each lesson combines grammar practice, vocabulary building, and phrasing exercises, tailored to your pace and learning goals. As both a student and tutor of German, I understand the difficulties language learners face and create an encouraging environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process. My goal is to help you build confidence, develop strong foundations, and enjoy the journey of learning German.

My Teaching Approach
My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I believe that learning a language should be both structured and enjoyable, so I combine clear grammar explanations with interactive exercises and practical examples that make German easier to understand.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans, which allows me to explain difficult concepts clearly while guiding you towards using German more confidently.
A typical lesson includes a mix of grammar practice, vocabulary building, and phrasing exercises, combined with interactive activities to reinforce learning. Each session is carefully adapted to the student's level, pace, and personal goals, ensuring steady progress and a clear understanding of key concepts.
My lessons are aimed at students learning German at A1 to B1 level, especially those who struggle with tricky grammar rules, vocabulary, or sentence structure. I have experience tutoring A1 learners and hold a B1 certificate in German myself, which helps me understand the challenges from a learner’s perspective.
With me, students can expect a motivating, step-by-step approach that builds both skills and confidence in using the German language.
