About Ana Elisa

I initially began studying piano and violin at the age of four. My passion in music led me to explore a variety of music flavors including percussion, viola, jazz piano, and organ. I have performed countless times as a soloist, as well as with groups like concert bands, marching bands, chamber orchestras, and full orchestras across the DFW area.

I am currently a music education student in Fort Worth, Texas. I regularly perform as a soloist and as a chamber musician in university ensembles, and a local jazz combo group. I also serve my church community in the worship orchestra as a violist as well as one of the rotating organists. Outside of music, I am a devoted animal lover, and run an unofficial local cat rescue.

About the lesson

A good musical education shapes a student to be a musician. Students work on skills like focus, preparation, accountability, and teamwork, all while having a physical reference in the body involved with creating.
Music, in its simplest form, is organized sound ... except we all know that music is a lot more than something that is heard: music can be a feeling, a place, a memory, a friend, or a combination of everything.
I have always been involved with the fine arts: from choir, to band, to orchestra, to musical theater, and even drill team. I strive to be an asset to the fundamental process of learning by using my experience to enhance student success.
