About Alex
I'm Alex. I'm 18 with a genuine interest in teaching and helping people actually understand things, not just memorise them. I recently achieved a strong B in A-level Business, so I've been through the exact exams students are working towards and know where it's easy to lose marks. I got into tutoring because I enjoy explaining things clearly and want to help students feel more confident going into their exams, whether that's building understanding from scratch or fine tuning revision technique closer to exam time.

I focus on building real understanding rather than just memorising content, breaking topics down into clear examples and checking you can apply them, not just recite them. Sessions typically run for one hour, with time built in for questions and past paper practice where useful. I recently achieved a B in A-level Business and A-level Psychology, so I know exactly where students lose easy marks and what examiners are actually looking for. I also work full time in a real business environment, which brings practical examples into Business lessons that textbooks alone don't cover. Lessons suit GCSE and A-level Business students, and A-level Psychology students, at any ability level.
