I like to start off a lesson just how I would study for a test. I teach/review new concepts, demonstrate some practice problems, then let the student work some out on their own. What I think is the most unique part of my teaching is that at the end of every lesson, I ask my students to briefly teach me what they have just learned. No only does this reinforce their understanding, but it also helps them transfer that knowledge into the long-term memory. As someone who never got math as quick as my classmates, I know what it's like to take things slowly and grind out the learning process. I also teach for mastery; instead of my students knowing 95% of the material and forgetting it a month later, I strive to have my students really understand 100% of the material. Another benefit of me being younger is that all the topics are still fresh in my mind as opposed to an older tutor who might have learned these topics 10-20 years ago.
