About Marcus
I am a dedicated Singing tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, having successfully guided over 250 High School and College students. My approach focuses on nurturing each student’s unique voice while helping them develop strong technical skills, including breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, and stage presence.
I believe that singing is not just about hitting the right notes but also about expressing emotions and connecting with the music. My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, personalized guidance, and creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to explore their creativity.
Many of my students have participated in school and college competitions, performing at events and receiving recognition and awards for their talent. I also incorporate music theory, vocal exercises, and performance techniques into my lessons, ensuring a well-rounded development. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for music, help students achieve their performance goals, and develop confidence both on and off the stage.

My approach to teaching Singing is student-centered, creative, and respectful. I believe learning should feel comfortable and motivating. I begin by understanding the student’s learning style, vocal range, and musical taste.
I adapt lessons using listening practice, repetition, and hands-on exercises. Lessons focus on breathing control, pitch accuracy, tone balance, vocal flexibility, and emotional expression. Progress is steady and safe.
Creativity plays a key role in my lessons. I encourage students to connect emotionally with songs and explore their own singing style.
Diplomacy shapes my teaching style. I give feedback kindly and clearly, helping students feel encouraged and confident.
Along with Singing, I teach basic music theory, ear training, rhythm skills, vocal care, pronunciation, and performance preparation. These subjects help students sing with clarity and confidence.
