About Eleanor

Hello! I am a calm, friendly and progress-driven Mathematics tutor in the Cheshire/Manchester area. I am DBS (CRB) checked, with 10 years of teaching experience both in school and 1-to-1 (face to face and online). I hold a 1st Class Honours Degree, a PGCE, plus 4 A-Levels and 13 GCSEs (A* - B, including Maths and English). I specialise in fast-tracking progress in short spaces of time (For instance, I have had my students move up 3 grades over 10 months of lessons).

About the lesson

Levels taught: Functional Skills Maths, Maths for adults

As always, lessons will be planned according to the student’s needs and structured to be engaging and interesting so that the student retains what they have been taught. Past papers are used extensively to maximise the students' experience and knowledge of exam style questions. Homework can be given provided the student is happy with this.
