About Clara
As a flute tutor with 12 years of experience and around 150 trained students, I am dedicated to helping learners achieve their musical goals with clarity and confidence.
My teaching method combines technical accuracy with practical application. I train students in breath management, embouchure strength, articulation control, finger coordination, and rhythmic precision. I also include performance preparation to help students develop stage confidence.
I believe patience is one of the most important qualities in teaching music. I ensure students feel comfortable asking questions and practising without fear of mistakes.
My unique ability is identifying small improvements that make a big difference in sound quality and technique. I focus on continuous growth and measurable progress.
My goal is to guide students towards becoming confident and expressive flute performers.

My flute teaching methodology aims to develop technical strength and self-confidence simultaneously. I adapt my teaching style to match the student’s age, level, and learning preference to ensure effective understanding.
I focus on essential techniques such as breath control, tone refinement, finger placement, and rhythmic accuracy. I use progressive exercises that gradually increase in complexity, helping students grow step by step. Along with playing skills, I teach music theory, rhythm structures, scale understanding, and ear development.
Flexibility allows me to tailor lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. If a student prepares for performances or exams, I incorporate mock practice sessions and stage presentation techniques. Collaboration is encouraged through open communication and goal setting.
Positivity is central to my classes. I motivate students to overcome challenges and recognise their progress. My objective is to create disciplined, confident, and expressive flute musicians.
