About Lauren
I am a second year medical student, studying at the University of Cambridge. I sat my UCAT 2 years ago and scored 3370 (2530), in the top 1% of test takers. I scored 760 in VR, 880 in DM, 890 in QR and 840 in AR and Band 2 in SJ. I am tutoring future medicine/dentistry students because the UCAT is a challenging exam and such an integral component of your university applications.

For the first session, please have completed a mock exam that you either found difficult or have attempted recently. During this session, we will go through any questions that you have got incorrect and I will recommend any methods/techniques that will be useful when answering similar questions. The first session may take anywhere between one and two hours, depending on how many questions you’d like us to cover. After this first session, we will target your weaknesses by going through specific UCAT questions in the following sessions.
We will also discuss UCAT sections and question types that you think could need some attention so that I can target them in the following sessions.
When targeting these areas, I plan to use the online UCAT question bank, so please let me know if you have already used some of the questions from this question bank. These sessions are purely for you and your improvement so it’s important that they are tailored for you.
As we progress through the tutoring I will likely set mocks/sets of practice questions to check whether the methods and tips I am teaching you are effective and also to check whether there are any other areas that we should target. If during your prep there are any questions that you are unsure of or that you would like explaining, feel free to bring them to the next session or email me a photo of the question.
