About Eleanor
I'm a recent graduate with an English degree from the University of Cambridge, currently working in Oxford. I have a good deal of prior tutoring experience, and I find it very rewarding. I can offer targeted lessons on specific texts, broad skill-based teaching, and test-oriented coaching.

I have over 50 hours experience tutoring A-level students in English and History, and am trained to a very high level in the study of English literature. I have helped run several in-person courses on the Oxbridge admissions process including skills-based seminars and direct teaching on the English Literatute Admissions Test (ELAT).
My teaching is flexible based on the needs of the students, but I hope to help facilitate a genuine enjoyment of the material, where possible, and have had success at a range of ability levels. I offer teaching for anyone over the age of 10, but can give targeted sessions for students pursuing their GCSEs, A levels, or University applications -- particularly to Oxford or Cambridge. Lessons last 60 minutes, and students are encouraged to send work they want looked at in advance.
