About Maddy
I am a graduate from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge with a Double First Class with Distinction BA in English. I additionally hold an MPhil In Medieval and Renaissance Literature with Distinction from the same college.
I am an experienced tutor and classroom teacher, having recently completed six months of English Language and Literature at IGCSE and A-Level at a top UK boarding school. I am also familiar with AQA and SQA specifications.

I am keen to support pupils at secondary school or university level, specialising in AQA and SQA qualifications, as well as Oxbridge entrance prep.
My tutoring ethos is always to provide positive, constructive feedback with practical applications. I structure my personalised lesson plans around the areas pupils find most challenging and slowly build up confidence by talking through examples. I am additionally happy to provide feedback on essays and dissertations, from planning to proofreading.
