Hi, my name’s Emily! I graduated with a First in English Literature (BA Hons) from the University of Cambridge, and completed a Masters Degree (MPhil) in American Literature, also at Cambridge, for which I was awarded a scholarship.
I have been tutoring for 6 years at all levels: from the 11+ to university-level. I have long-running client relationships, but I have also tutored clients who required short-term help in anticipation of exams, or who requested my help with university admissions. I have also taught international students on residential summer courses at Cambridge University.
I’m a patient, gentle, and well-rounded tutor. As a person, I am also very creative, and I like to think I bring this creativity into my teaching. It’s a pleasure to see a student develop confidence in their own abilities.
