About Elena
I am a University of Cambridge Economics graduate from Trinity College, with a strong academic background across both quantitative and essay-based subjects. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics and Chemistry at A-Level, achieving A* in all four subjects.
I have several years of experience tutoring students aged 11–18, from building academic confidence to preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels and university applications. I particularly enjoy guiding students through challenging concepts and helping them develop their own way of thinking, rather than simply teaching them to memorise answers.
Having recently been through the school and university application process myself, I understand both the academic demands students face and the importance of having someone who can make difficult material feel approachable and manageable.

I offer 60-minute lessons tailored to each student’s individual goals, ability and interests. I have several years of tutoring experience with students aged 11–18, including students who have gone on to study at the University of Cambridge.
My lessons are highly personalised and interactive. Rather than simply explaining content, I combine clear teaching with targeted exercises, worked examples, discussion and case studies to help students genuinely understand and apply what they learn.
I adapt both the pace and teaching style to each student, whether they are looking to build confidence, improve their grades or prepare for exams and university applications.
