About Dheeraj
- Work Experience - 5 years
- Qualification - Ph.D student @University of Cambridge ; M.Sc. Applied Mathematics @Imperial College London.
I am a PhD student at University of Cambridge (King's College) and soon aspire to become a full time professor and devote my career in research and academia in Mathematics and Economics. I completed my M.Sc. Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London and B.S. Mathematics & Economics from Pennsylvania State University. I have previously worked at United Nations as an Economic Affairs Intern, and at Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an Economic Researcher.
I have taught for over 5 years in three different countris (US, UK, India). I have been tutoring high school students and undergraduates part time since 2016. I have also taught as a tutor in the United States while I was an undergraduate and ever since have a passion for teaching and seeing my students scoring better than ever and loving the subject at the same time.
I have successful students from these past five years that have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm.

1) Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach Math, Further Math, Statistics, and Further Statistics for GCSE, AS-A Level, IB and Grades 8-12.
2) How do you Teach ?
- A Student is free to opt any of my 3 styles/methods of teaching:
(i) Via Online Screen-share systems (like Zoom & MS Teams).
(ii) Via Online Traditional Classroom methods (i.e., virtual live sessions using Traditional Chalk - Blackboard method using Whatsapp, Zoom etc...)
(iii) One to One Session (Depending on the choice of student, a meetup place like house, library, cafe etc. is decided.)
3) When do you offer classes?
- I offer students classes on either Weekdays or Weekends. The choice is yours.
4) How long is the duration of your course?
- I offer 3 packages:
(i) Regular Package - Runs at the pace of your formal school of teaching. We cover syllabus in resonance with your High School.
(ii) Flexible Package - Runs at the pace that you'd like me to run.
(iii) Accelerated Package - This is a 3 month fast paced package for those who haven't studied entire year but the exams are 3 months away. This will fast pace your preparation and help you score high in less time.
5) Do you offer discount on Block booking?
- Yes, I also offer a discount on block booking.
6) When are you available?
- My timetable is quite flexible. I am happy to discuss the schedule and come up with a time table that suits student the best.
7) Do you prepare students for other Entrance Exams / Standardized tests.
- Yes I do for SAT, ACT, Advanced Placements Tests.
8) Do you provide Consultation for Admissions to Universities?
- Yes I do consult and help students apply for Various Universities in the US, Canada, and UK. I help them with their Statement of Purpose, Essays, Applications, Scholarships, Letter of Recommendations and Resume'. Students with my consultation have previously secured admissions to Universities like Princeton , UC Berkeley, Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford, PennState etc.
