About Cory
Learning is a skill like any other - it takes both practice and discipline. Like many other skills, though -- like sports, playing instruments or even playing video games -- once you learn it, the joy and fun are easy to find.
I focus on both ensuring students learn the information they need and also developing the skills to eventually no longer need a tutor at all.

A good tutor first recognizes how the student learns. I won't force my one-way on you. You're capable of learning; it's my job to figure out how you assimilate and retain knowledge and then deploy the strategies that will make an effective learner.
I've been an administrator at various colleges since 2008. In that time, I've tutored students through challenging courses all the way to helping them build resumes and practice interviews.
