About Motseothata
I passed my mathematics and physical sciences with distinctions. I did B.Sc in applied mathematics and physics at North-West University. I have a great passion for mathematics. But unfortunately, because of funds, I did my honours in physics. Now, I am a second-year M.Sc student in astrophysical sciences.
Sometimes we might have well-educated teachers and not knowing how to pass the information. So as students need to hear from someone else and that is why I want to do this job, to help others out there. And of course, I need some cash.

My preferred teaching methods:
Repetition - students are able to understand concepts at a faster rate.
Group work - allows students to discuss the problems and work together to come up with solutions. And they can discover simple ways to handle a certain problem. After all the confidence of students is built through pair working.
Connecting maths to other learning areas - the more students know how maths is connected to the world around us, the more maths grabs their attention.
Playing math games - even if the lesson was boring, once you start to play some math game students would definitely wake. This benefits them on strategic mathematical thinking.
The reward for progress - we all love to be rewarded for our hard work. So students find it exciting when they are rewarded. And it's another way of telling students to pull up their socks.
I'm proficient in mathematic. I am aiming at high school and second-year B.Sc students.
