About Russell
Honestly, the first step is often just finding your natural resonance. During our first session, we conduct a diagnostic vocal assessment to see where your voice sits today. We look at diction, articulation, and those tricky areas like vibrato control. Whether you want to master head voice or perfect your belt, I draw on my BMus training to guide you.
Microphone technique is essential for performance, so we cover that early. Intermediate learners and hobbyists often appreciate how we blend rhythm and phrasing into every warm up. I hope to see you in the studio soon.

Teaching provides a unique connection to the music I love. My 13 years of experience across Canada informs how I handle vocal technique.
Having earned my BMus at The Glenn Gould School, I prioritize healthy habits. I have worked with 380 students to build genuine performance confidence. My classical and folk crossover background informs my vocal exercises.
