About Marquerite
Usually, people assume language learning is about memorizing lists, but I prefer a deeper integration of reading comprehension, cultural context, and listening practice. Drawing on my MMus from Berklee, I apply a structured, musical ear to teaching pronunciation, idioms and expressions, everyday phrases for beginners, and the nuance of liaison and nasal sounds. My 13 years of experience teaching French full-time allows me to guide you through these complexities with a clear, steady hand. I will keep our interactions direct while ensuring you find the rhythm that makes this language feel natural to speak.
