About Nicki
Originally from the UK, I now live in Auckland with my family. I'm fanatical about helping young people into careers they love, and to build a work-life that inspires them. I'm aware of the barriers young people face when entering the workplace, and I love helping students overcome those barriers. When I'm not working, I can normally be found drinking in a coffee and the view on one of Auckland's stunning beaches.

As a teacher and careers guidance professional of nearly 2 decades, our sessions will help young people get to know themselves so they can make the right decisions, first time. I support them to make confident decisions, understand the labor market and application processes, build a professional profile online, increase awareness of their skills, interests, values and qualifications, and how they can use experience to separate themselves from the crowd. We'll use proven tools (e.g. career profiling) in combination with a holistic approach that takes account of any mindset/confidence/clarity issues students may have. My tutoring is for 12-25 year olds, looking to find a career they love, or just get some clarity so they can choose subjects to study at school. I am Level 7 Careers Guidance Qualified, as well as a certified Life and Career Coach. My experience covers the public and private education sectors. I can also support students looking to apply to very competitive courses in the UK and USA.
