About Liesl
I love to learn and help others learn too. I work as a swim teacher helping kids learn to swim in a comfortable, supportive environment. I like to teach through explanation, demonstration, practice, and feedback to really solidify skills. I feel very comfortable teaching all ages, as I have experience with kids through work and nannying, as well as experience helping my peers throughout high school in difficult subjects. I want to make lessons fun and engaging!

Hi! My name is Liesl McCallum and I am an incoming Freshman at Carleton College! I have a passion for Biology and Medicine as well as Spanish and writing! I have scored 5s on many AP tests including Calculus AB and BC, Biology, Environmental Science, Spanish Language and Culture, Seminar, Research, and Psychology. I feel very comfortable in tutoring in any of these subject whether it be for an AP class or for someone taking a related class. On top of this, I scored a 34 on my ACT and a 1520 on my SAT, so I am open to helping with test prep! I have also won a Gold Key award for my writing portfolio in the Scholastic writing contest, and I would love to help with any type of writing.
