About Adriana

I am a Romanian‑British violinist with international solo performance experience. My teaching is shaped by the exceptional mentor who guided my artistic development, as well as the many teachers who contributed to my musical foundation. I am passionate about passing this knowledge forward through a performance‑centred and musically expressive approach, helping students build both technique and artistic confidence.

I teach in English and Romanian, and I can also teach in Italian and French at an intermediate language level.

My performance highlights include solo debuts at Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall), the Royal Albert Hall (Elgar Room), and the Concertgebouw (Kleine Zaal). I welcome students of all levels and enjoy working with both beginners and more advanced learners in a supportive, inspiring environment.

About the lesson

Who I teach:
I teach beginners, young learners, intermediate students, adults returning to the violin, and violinists who are preparing for a professional path.

My teaching style:
I focus on clear technique, musical expression, and building confidence. I am patient, structured, and I adapt to each student’s pace.

What students can expect:
You will get personalised guidance, simple explanations, and a supportive environment. My goal is to make you enjoy the violin and make steady progress.

Maria

I’ve seen first-hand how much heart Adriana puts into her music. She is an extraordinary violinist who has this natural way of making anyone feel at ease, regardless of their age or if they’re just starting out. Beyond her talent, she is someone you can truly count on: always punctual, professional, and honestly, just a joy to work with. If you’re looking for a teacher who is as kind as she is gifted, Adriana is the best choice you could make!
