About Alexander
My musical career started young, as a Chorister in the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge. I studied Organ and Choral Directing at the Royal Academy of Music and have held organist positions at places such as Tewkesbury Abbey, Arundel Cathedral and St Martin-in-the-Fields as well as Deputy Lay-Clerkships in the choirs of Gloucester and Peterborough Cathedrals. I have been a Schoolmaster at Dean Close Cheltenham, Oundle School, Eastbourne College, KES Southampton and Sherborne Boys. I have wide musical interests, albeit with a concentration on Church Music and love passing on my knowledge as well as helping people unlock their potential.

Study at your speed - but with encouragement to get to where you want to go as quickly as possible. I am also a firm believer in setting you up with skills to have a lifelong ability to keep enjoying your music - long after tuition has finished. I have even had many former pupils enter the profession - now working conductors, singers, organists, a consistent string of Oxbridge Choral and Organ Scholars; even a current King’s Singer.
