About Leana

I am currently a CEGEP student who has a strong academic background. I studied the spanish language all through high school at an intermediate level. In my final year of high school, I obtained the DELE diploma, level B1. I have tutored spanish to college students who took the 101 level course, as well as students in all years of high school. I also tutor and mentor students who wish to take the DELE exam (levels A1, A2, B1).

About the lesson

My teaching methods differ from one student to the next. I get to know my students in a way to help them reach their end goal. What makes me special as a tutor is the fact that I care for my students, and keep tabs on their academic calendar to make sure they succeed. My skills fit the criteria of a high school student and college level 101 Spanish classes. I help with any kind of homework, review the lesson taught in class, help prepare for tests and examinations, and if needed, I teach the lesson from scratch. My goal, as a tutor, is to make my student comfortable enough with the language to have a fluid conversation and be confident in the way he or she speaks spanish.
