About Celeste

Although I am new to tutoring, English has always been a passion and a strong suit of mine. I loved English throughout my grade school years, and I've loved carrying it on into my college education. I have deep love for reading and expanding my vocabulary. I believe that words are powerful, and knowing how to use them and understand them can be a wonderful tool that we can use over the course of our entire lives. This is what has inspired me to become a teacher. I'm in still a couple years away from my degree, but why not let the teaching begin now!

About the lesson

Lesson plans will differ depending on what you or your student is struggling with. I work to curate a learning environment that caters to the individual. For lessons leaning more towards the literature and text side of English we would work together to break down excerpts or reading assignments, and find out where exactly that disconnect is happening. For lessons pertaining to grammar and vocabulary we would practice and expand on vocabulary together. We would also break down different grammar rules and see how they apply into everyday dialogue and sentence structure. These are just examples, the lessons will vary on what the student needs!
