I used to struggle with writing longer sentences and writing details. After working with Ms. Jade, I have learned to write better and more powerful stories, it was really fun writing details for suspenseful events in a story. I came from China last year and my mother was very anxious to find a writing teacher for me, because my writing skills were not good and there were many grammar problems. After I got in Ms. Jade’s class, I rarely make grammatical mistakes. Sometimes I make grammatical mistakes that I know, like past tense. Ms. Jade will let me find out and correct it by myself. Ms. Jade is also a very patient, attentive and optimistic teacher. She recommended that I read more. Reading is good for vocabulary and writing, but I don't like reading. Ms. Jade devoted a long time to telling me the importance of reading, and hoped that I could really like reading and enjoy the learning process and be happy to learn, so the speed and quality will be greatly improved. If you are in Ms. Jade's class, you will find that your progress is very fast. There are some small details that you don't think are important, but she will explain them clearly to you so that you can truly understand.

Jade has her own unique and fun way to teach students at different levels. She started tutoring my son when he was entering grade 5. In just a few months, my son's improvement in English had already astonished his school teacher and myself. Now at grade 6, my son is one of the top students of his class and he just passed the SSAT test (grade5-7) with 84% in vocabulary and 76% in the reading comprehension.
