"Folk music is the language I speak most fluently. My BA Folk Music provides the foundation for 13 years of experience teaching everything from posture and hold to complex orchestral playing. I have worked with hundreds of performance-focused students, hobbyists, and returning learners to refine their vibrato, shifting positions, and tone production. Developing left hand agility requires more than just reading notation.
I emphasize the physical connection to the instrument to help players move beyond technical rigidity. My approach ensures that ornamentation and bowing techniques like spiccato or staccato become second nature. I am here to help you find your unique voice on the fiddle. You will succeed through dedicated practice."
