About Lovro

My name is Lovro and I come from a small town in eastern Slovenia that borders on Croatia. I have been interested in fashion and everything related to it for more than 12 years. I did my bachelor degree in fashion and textile design at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana and after that I did my master degree in fashion design at Central Saint Martins, the most notoriously hard to get into fashion course in the world. My work was featured in numerous magazines like British Vogue (Class Act: The British fashion grads destined for the big time), Interview Magazine, Vogue Spain cover story, Self Service Magazine, Vogue Adria. For my MA graduate collection I was also awarded with the prestigious LVMH young graduate award, which gave me the opportunity to work as a junior designer at Loewe under Jonathan Anderson and later Jack and Lazaro. Since then, I have been living and creating in Paris, France.

About the lesson

I am here to lead you through the whole process, from research to finishings on garments and all the way through portfolio building, interview preparation and everything in between. Let me help you make sense and give purpose behind your creative decisions, while keeping modernity and the current zeitgeist in mind.

The focal point of the whole process is yourself, who you are, what are your values, where do you come from and how can we apply all of this to a coherent collection that is going to take you where you want to be, whether that is a bachelor course, master course or an internship of your choice.
