About Kimorah
My name is Kimorah and I am a certified PK-4th grade teacher who teaches 4th grade. I have experience working with students 5-10 years old. I have about 4 years of experience working with students professionally. I taught 3rd-grade English Language Arts for a year. My philosophy as a teacher is to make sure students' needs are being met, that you are comfortable with the relationship we have built, and make you believe you can achieve any goal. When we tutor together, I want to assure you that I am here to help you. You are my priority in terms of excelling and being the best student you can be.

As a tutor, I love to include activities that will be fun and engaging to students. My lessons are tailored to Prek-4th grade students or people/students who read at those grade levels. I want you to realize you are still learning as you are having fun. A typical lesson would be tailored to your specific needs and fun facts about yourself. My lessons will most likely be crafted by me using tech tools such as Canva, Nearpod, and other educational resources. The techniques I use to create my lesson are based on the pre-assessment you will first take for me. My lessons are always data-driven and facilitate my instruction for the student. The data can come from tutor sessions, homework, and tests/quizzes.
